MARLIN M. DUNHAM

Marlin M. Dunham, 83, Burlington, died Jan. 23, 2013, at Vintage on the Ponds, Delavan. He was born in Macoupin County, Ill., on Dec. 24, 1929, to the late Maynard and Lucy (Mowen) Dunham. He spent his early life in Macoupin County and Roseau, Minn.

As a member of the U.S. Army he proudly served his country during the Korean War.

On Jan. 4, 1953, he married Sadie Marie Bakken in Roseau. They lived until 1995 in Kenosha when they moved to Burlington. He was an electrical maintenance worker at Dynatec Eaton Corporation, where he was also an electrical supervisor.

He was a member of Norway Lutheran Church where he was an usher and played dart ball. In his younger days he enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his children, Michael Dunham, Ettrick, and LuAnn (Greg) Himebauch, East Troy; grandchildren, Shawn Himebauch, East Troy, Jami (Brad) Pieniazek, Trevor, Traci Himebauch, East Troy, Ben Himebauch, East Troy; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Brandyn; siblings, Thelma Scroggins, Mulberry Grove, Ill., Charles (Marilee) Dunham, Bristol, Raymond (Anita) Dunham, Grand Forks, N.D., Winifred Dahl, Bartlesville, Okla.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was further preceded in death by his loving wife; one brother and five sisters.

Visitation is Monday, Jan. 28, from 10-10:45 a.m., with services at noon at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake Burial will follow services in the church cemetery. Mealy Funeral Home, Waterford, is serving the family.

In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Norway Lutheran Church.
