Lake Lawn closer to adding residential homes

The City of Delavan Plan Commission recently approved a planned infill development amendment and a general development plan for the east end of the Lake Lawn Resort property.

The approvals could allow   Fairwyn Development to add a 41,000 square-foot conference center, a new marina, and several residential homes on the property. The residential portion of the development will be called “The Harbor Club at Lake Lawn.”

The plan still needs approval by the Common Council and then precise implementation plans approved by the Plan Commission and Council, but Administrator Denise Pieroni said the developer could break ground on the infrastructure for the project next fall if all goes well.

The project calls for several phases to be constructed over the next five to eight years. The first phase would include a new 15,000 square-foot golf course maintenance building that will replace the current structure located on a portion of the property set to be redeveloped.
