Honoring those who get the kids home

The Whitewater Unified School District on Jan. 9 honored some folks who often fly under the radar, its bus drivers from Nelson Bus Service and crossing guards. Those who drive buses are Brea Stiglitz, Ken Havlovick, Deb Kahn, Kevin Snow, Karl Ludeman, Bruce Parker, Wil Kingery, David Beck, Debbie Aceves, Joe Melito, Jocelynn Czarapata, Dennis Johnson, Matt Hounsell, Dale Wilson, Dave Nelson and Dean Maize.
