Girl Scout troop planning trip to Europe

Rocky Rocco fundraiser set Jan. 29

Whitewater Girl Scouts, including (front, from left) Abby Wildenberg, Abbey Weeden, Maggie Jay, Elizabeth Katzman and Madelynn Newmann, are currently raising funds for a 10-day educational trip to London, Paris, Rome and Florence in July of 2015.

Members from Whitewater Girl Scout Troop No. 3336 have planned a 10-day educational trip to London, Paris, Rome and Florence in July of 2015 through EF Tours for Girl Scouts.

Their itinerary includes visits to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Sistine Chapel and many more must-see destinations.

The girls will even have the opportunity to participate in a special Girl Scout ceremony in Paris.

Area residents will have a chance to help them offset the cost of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by dining in or ordering out at Rocky Rococo’s in Whitewater on Tuesday, Jan. 29 between 4 and 8 p.m. The girls will earn 15 percent of the sales that night.
