Keefe Real Estate goes pink for breast cancer

The realty company is turning its signs pink, raising awareness

Throughout this month, Keefe Real Estate is going pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Keefe will be using its visibility and reach in the community to bring awareness to breast cancer with the company’s most visible effort being to turn its iconic, traditional green, dome-shaped sign to pink for the month.

Keefe agents are able to make donations to use the signs for the month. Additionally, Keefe will accept tax-deductible donations through Keefe Kares, the company’s 501(c)(3) non-profit. Money donated will be directed towards breast cancer programs and research in our local communities.

“Breast Cancer is a disease that hits close to home for us. We feel that our visibility in the community gives us a responsibility to play our part in raising awareness and funds for the cause,” said Tom Keefe, President and CEO of Keefe Real Estate.

“We are fortunate to be in this position, and we take great joy in giving back and supporting those affected in our local communities,” he added.

For the duration of the month of October, Keefe agents will change their listing signs to the color pink that is widely associated with breast cancer awareness. Additionally, Keefe is promoting this community wide event through multiple media channels and looks forward to getting the community involved as well. Community members can post photos with the signs on social media using the hashtag #KeefeGoesPink or donating online at KeefeKares.com.

Keefe Kares, the 501(c)(3) non-profit branch of Keefe Real Estate distributed more than $75,000 to local charities in 2018. To donate or for more information visit: keefekares.com.
