AMBROSE HINCE

Ambrose “Jeff” Hince, 87, of East Troy, found peace on Sept. 14, 2019. He was born in Oklee, Minnesota on April 8, 1932, to the late Florence (Lambert) and Zephirin Hince.

He married his loving wife of 62 years, Marie (Lorsung) on Dec. 1, 1956.

Ambrose will be dearly missed by his children, Greg (Deanna), Mark (Karen), Annette (Kurt) Stueck, Collette (Steve) Reiherzer, and Paulette (Bill) Newbury; grandchildren, Angela (Randy) Nasr, Jessica (Edwin) Brazda, Jason, Michael, and Jacob Hince; Joseph, Maria, Joshua, Olivia, Sophia, and Gabriella Stueck; Seth and Kristi Reiherzer; Ambrose, Ashton, and Avery Newbury; bonus grandchildren, Kristin (Dan) Walsh, Andrea (Adam) McCartney, and Rachael (Mitch) Martin; great-grandchildren, Ramzi and Amira Nasr, and Noah Brazda; his bonus great-grandchildren, Westen and Elese Walsh; Micah and Mallory Martin; brother, Francis Dean Hince; sister, Frances Marie (Ronald) Bohlke; and sister-in-law, Jean Havelka. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was further preceded in death by his brothers, James and Romeo Hince; and sisters-in-law, Judy Hince and Marian Hince.

Ambrose was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retiree of the railroad where he was a conductor.

His passions were his family and friends, flying his Cessna 170, viewing documentaries, listening to talk radio and country music, gardening/landscaping, sweepstaking, shopping and numerous building/repairing projects.

Those who knew him best would describe him as a devout Catholic, a gentle giant, charming, wise, generous, and that he never met a stranger.

Ambrose’s family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington for their excellent care of Ambrose.

A Catholic Mass will be held in his honor at an undetermined date.

Integrity Funeral Services, Waterford, is serving the family.
