Lakeland Players will have auditions for the Tony award-winning best Broadway musical, “Evita” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, and 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at the historic Sprague Theater, 15 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn.
The Players are looking for adult men and women (age 16 and older) and a few children (age 10 to 12) for the cast.
Auditioners should be prepared with no more than 32 bars of a song to sing and bring music; an accompanist will be provided. No a cappella singing but appropriate shoes for dance are needed.
Performance dates are Oct. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20.
