EVELYN E. ISHERWOOD

Evelyn E. Isherwood, 88, Delavan, died Jan. 17 at Willowfield Nursing Home in Delavan. She was born Dec. 15, 1924 in the Stevens Point area to the late Joseph and Emma (Langer) Flaig. She became the beloved wife of John Isherwood on Oct. 19, 1945 in Stevens Point. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Delavan. She was employed at Oaks Manufacturing in Elkhorn for 32 years before retiring.

She is survived by her husband, John, of Delavan; daughters; Joyce Smith and Cheryl (Ray) Alberth both of Delavan; son, Kim of Whitewater; grandchildren, Kim Jr., Diana (Mike) Lies, Paula (Scott) Koepke, Ray (Michelle) Alberth, Tammy (Mike) Neiger, Pammy Norris, Rebecca Medley and Heather Conaway; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Lillian) Flaig and Ray Flaig and sister, Helen Niemczyk. Her brothers, Ralph and Joseph Jr.; sisters, Emma Grover, Christine Snow and Catherine Czlapinski; daughter, Sandra Lee Bowey; a great-grandson and two great-great granddaughters further precede her in death.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Jan. 26 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan with the Rev. Gary Nowicki officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
