Man charged with selling drugs near schools

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 12 for a Delavan man charged with selling drugs near Delavan schools.

Brayan Anduaga Colin, 18, was charged Aug. 1 in Walworth County Circuit Court with two counts of manufacturing or delivering LSD, one near a school; and manufacturing or delivering marijuana near a school.

According to the criminal complaint, police conducted controlled buys of LSD and marijuana from Colin on June 4 and 20 and July 8. On the first occasion, Colin sold 10 paper pieces of LSD at E. Geneva Street and Tyrell Avenue in Delavan, which is 631 feet from Wileman Elementary School.

On the second occasion, Colin again sold 10 squares of LSD at the Sugar Shack strip club in the Town of Geneva, the complaint states.

In July, Colin allegedly sold 7.02 grams of marijuana in the parking lot of a Delavan apartment on Autumn Drive that is about 200 feet from Turtle Creek Elementary School, according to the complaint.
