Man allegedly sold drugs near parks

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 6 for a Lake Geneva man charged with selling drugs near two Lake Geneva parks.

Gabriel R. Chavez, 18, was charged May 17 in Walworth County Circuit Court with delivering designer drugs and felony bail jumping.

According to the criminal complaint, while under bond conditions on a charge of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, Chavez sold ecstasy May 3 during a controlled buy at Harbor Shores Hotel, which is within 1,000 feet of Flat Iron and Seminary parks.
