The Voice of Praise sacred choir is presenting its spring concert at 7 p.m. Friday evening, May 17, at Calvary Community Church, on the corner of Highway 50 and Harris Road in Williams Bay (N2620 Harris Road, Lake Geneva).
The free concert, called “Lead Me in the Way,” features a variety of choral music, from classical to gospel, spiritual to contemplative.
The concert will take attendees on a journey through life, reminding them they are created in God’s image to bring him glory. As the title, taken from Psalm 139:24, suggests, the music explores how God leads the way.
Voice of Praise was formed in 2017 and is comprised of singers from all over Walworth County, from many different churches and backgrounds.
The choir sings at various churches about every six weeks, providing music for their service. Rehearsals are at 7 p.m. Tuesday evenings, September through May.
