Police investigating early morning drive-by shooting in East Troy

The Village of East Troy Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that took place in the Brookstone subdivision.

“No one was injured,” Police Chief Jeremy Swendrowski said.

According to a press release from Swendrowski, police were called to the subdivision just after 1:20 a.m. this morning for a report of gunshots. The preliminary investigation found a residence on Mallard Way was targeted from a moving vehicle.

“This is an isolated incident that is currently under investigation,” the release states.

The Village of East Troy Police Department was assisted by the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of East Troy Police Department in the response.
