One of Middle School Principal Bryan Frost’s memories about his days as a student at Elkhorn Area High School revolves around being a voice for others. His high school leadership consisted of being class president and leading sports teams.

“People would come to you with ideas, and you try to make it happen,” the 1993 EAHS graduate said of his class presidency.

He recalls when his senior marketing teacher, Diane Read, invited him to be a student representative to meet with Elkhorn community leaders to give feedback about what kids thought were important.

“They would share qualities they were looking for in employees for me to take back,” Frost said.

Frost was recently named State Middle Level Administrator of the year for the Wisconsin Association of School Councils.
