Through the certification program, these students have gained skills in various career and technical education subject areas that will promote a successful transition to postsecondary education and the workforce.

Students with these certifications have received the necessary background and knowledge in their respective fields of interest that will lead them to a valuable and meaningful career. To earn the certification, each student completed the required coursework and passed a final exam.

Endorsed by industry experts such as Bayer CropScience, Express Employment Professionals and Southwest Airlines, and powered by iCEV, the certifications enhance student résumés and help them stand out to prospective colleges and employers, according to a press release from the school district. The certifications reflect current industry standards in order to ensure students are career-ready.

“Our goal in collaborating with industry partners to build certifications was to provide students with a meaningful, valuable validation of the skills they have developed through their course work,” iCEV President Dusty Moore said. “The certifications are meant to have an immediate positive impact on students as they plan for their future after high school, whether that is attending college or joining the workforce. On behalf of CEV Multimedia and our industry partners, we congratulate all students at Badger High School for this tremendous accomplishment.”
