Jim and Shirley Zimmerman’s home at W425 Miller Road in the Town of East Troy is listed on both the National Trust of Historic Sites and the State of Wisconsin Historic Sites Registries.

The Zimmerman’s bought the estate formerly known as “Park Lawn Farm” which had been the home of Carl and Clara Bucholtz. This more than 3,000 square foot residence was rebuilt following a fire in 1911 in a Queen-Anne/Craftsman style complete with such features as a woodshed, summer and winter kitchen, pantry, conservatory, sewing room, library, dining room, living room, and parlor on just the first floor. The second floor included: three bedrooms, a full bath and a dressing room and in 1912 a servants quarters was added.

The Zimmerman’s have restored the home to its original condition of 1911 and filled the home with authentic antiques fitting of a home built near the turn of the 19th Century.
