This week in the East Troy News…

The East Troy School Board moved one step closer to a possible operational referendum at the Jan. 7 special board meeting. After a working session, the board instructed administration to have a three-year, $1.4 million operational referendum question drafted for possible approval at Monday night’s meeting at 6 p.m. in the East Troy High School library. Residents are encouraged to attend and give the board feedback.

Also in this week’s edition, the candidates are set for the local municipal and School Board elections. One long-time School Board member is not running for re-election.

In high school sports, the girls basketball team beat Brodhead and the wrestlers fall to Edgerton.
