Mars Resort has been hosting an annual fundraiser for Lakeland School for more than 25 years.
The resort – on the south side of Lake Como – is having its annual winter fundraising event to support Lakeland School again this year.
It began earlier this month and runs through New Year’s Eve. The money raised from the event will be used to buy prizes for the raffle and auction items at the Lakeland School Fest in May.
Here is how the fundraiser works: guests at Mars Resort can buy an ornament ball for $1 with all proceeds going to Lakeland School. Those who purchase a ball have a chance to win the following: a black slip wins $5; red, a free drink; green, $2; pink, $1; purple, a free ornament ball; and yellow, half price appetizer or various food items.
