Badger High School performing arts will present the newly released for high school Broadway hit “Mamma Mia!” at 7 p.m. Nov. 8, 9 and 10.

“Mamma Mia!” the ninth longest running Broadway show, is a comedic crowd pleaser featuring hits by the popular 1970s rock group ABBA. Set against a pastoral Greek isle backdrop, the story follows Sophie, played by Kaleigh Krause, as she attempts to discover who her father is before her wedding. Her mother, Donna, played by Heidi Engerman, knows it is one of three possible men who arrive just in time for the wedding. The three dads, played by Colin Ring, Zane Gallagher and Kyle May, revisit their history with Donna through ABBA’s most famous songs, some of which act as memories and flashbacks to the 1970s. The hits included “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” “Does Your Mother Know,” “S.OS.” and “Slipping Through My Fingers.”

The performance features 45 Badger High students.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors and free for Badger students. Tickets are available in the Badger front office, online on the Badger website or on the night of the show.
