Attitude, execution keys in win for boys soccer

The 2018 season has been quite the learning experience for the young Big Foot-Williams Bay boys soccer squad.

But Tuesday, it was the Chiefs who delivered a few lessons of their own.

Big Foot broke a 3-3 tie against visiting Edgerton with four unanswered goals en route to a 7-3 victory in the Rock Valley Conference Tournament. The win improved the Chiefs to 3-14-1 and 2-5 in conference play.

“Clearly we were very happy with the game and the result,” Big Foot coach Keith Blakeman said. “We’ve been working toward this type of performance for the entire season, and it made the guys happy to actually achieve it.”
