The Class of 1958, the first class to graduate from Delavan-Darien High School after the Delavan and Darien school districts were brought together, celebrated its 60th reunion last week during the high school’s homecoming celebration.

The class was in town from Oct. 4 through 7 beginning with float decoration on Thursday evening. The Class of 1958 was represented in the school’s homecoming parade 60 years after graduating. This year’s parade has more than 40 entries as the district made efforts to ramp up homecoming in an effort to improve school spirit at the school and in the community.

Official registration for the reunion was on Friday morning at Delbrook Golf Course. The class rode in the parade, enjoyed the pig roast that was sponsored by Delavan Youth Football and took in the football game at which the class was recognized. A social hour followed the game at New Horizons sports bar.
