HELEN ROSE FASSBINDER

Helen Rose Fassbinder, 87, Lake Geneva, died Dec. 24, 2012 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva.

She was born Nov. 8, 1925 in Janesville to the late Frank Joseph and Evelyn (Raible) Fassbinder. As an infant, she was baptized in the Catholic faith at St. Benedict church. She received her high school education attending Walworth High School in Walworth where she graduated in 1943. She was a secretary for different businesses around Walworth County. More recently, she was a secretary for 18 years at Hevi-Duty Company, which made lighting for airports.

Her greatest joys in life were swimming and bowling.  Some of her other favorite past times include playing the piano, gardening, enjoying the out-of-doors and a love of watching nature, especially the animals.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive her. Her brother, John and two infant siblings further preceded her in death.

Services will be 11 a.m. Jan. 4 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Fontana. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Delavan.
