Clean Sweep scheduled for Friday and Saturday

This year’s Clean Sweep event will help households, businesses, schools and municipalities properly dispose of damaged, banned, unusable or unwanted products that contain volatile chemicals.

Clean Sweep services are provided free to household residents who may drop off items without an appointment at the following times and locations:

  • 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Town of Linn Municipal Garage, N611 Zenda Rd., Zenda;
  • 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the City of Whitewater Public Works Complex, 150 Starin Rd., Whitewater;
  • 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Walworth County Public Works Department, W4097 County Rd. NN, Elkhorn.

Clean Sweep is funded in part by the Town of Darien Mallard Ridge Landfill Fund and a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
