Diane Y. Yirek, 72, of Delavan, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was born in Delavan on April 4, 1940 to the late Roy and Ruby (Williamson) Kucker. She was a medical assistant for more than 30 years in the Delavan area, first at the office of Dr. Woods then with Dr. Poplar’s office.
She is survived by her husband, Terry of Delavan; her daughter, Kris (Ken) Pond of Allen, Texas; her son, Darren (Michelle Haas) Yirek of Beloit; grandchildren; Taylor, Chase and Cade Pond, and Jalen Yirek; brothers, Jack (Marie) Kucker and David Kucker both of Illinois; many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Carol Yirek of Harvard, Ill. A sister and two brothers further preceded her in death.
