Venetian Fest set for Aug. 15 to 19

 

The 56th annual Venetian Fest will take place in Lake Geneva from Aug. 15 to 19.

The event will run from 5 p.m. to midnight Wednesday through Friday and noon to midnight Saturday and Sunday in Flat Iron, Seminary and Library parks.

The entertainment line-up includes Bella Cain from 8 p.m. to midnight Aug. 15; Hairbanger Ball from 8 p.m. to midnight Aug. 16; Too White Crew from 8 p.m. to midnight Aug. 17; Swing Chevron from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 18; Dirty Canteen from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 18; Boy Band Review from 8 p.m. to midnight Aug. 18; Lake Geneva House of Music from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 19; and Jimmy Nick and Don’t Tell Momma from 8 p.m. to midnight Aug. 19.

A craft fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18 and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 19 in Library Park.

A brat stand will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 18 and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 19 in Library Park.

A carnival will operate from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Aug. 15 and 16, 5 to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 17, noon to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 18 and noon to 10:30 p.m. Aug. 19 in Flat Iron and Seminary parks. Wristbands are available for $20 from 5 to 19 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

A water ski show will take place at 6 p.m. Aug. 19 on the lake in front of Library Park.

Fireworks will be displayed at dusk on Aug. 19 in Geneva Bay and can be viewed from Library Park, the lakefront, Riviera Beach and Flat Iron Park.

A lighted boat parade will start at dusk on Aug. 19 in front of Library Park. The theme for this year’s boat parade is the Olympics.
