Tim Weiss and Nick Freymiller went to Badger Boy State at Ripon College the second week in June where they represented Big Foot High School.

Weiss and Freymiller were selected through applications completed and approved by a school representative who then forwarded selections to the American Legion, which sponsors the students attending through donations.

Badger Boys State aims to teach young men about the civic processes of state government as well as the leadership required to build a community. Attendees act as a “citizen” of the fictitious 51st state of the union, the Badger state.
