Rose Among Thorns performs

      The quartet Rose Among Thorns performed at the most recent Savory Sounds concert on July 12, a series of the Whitewater Arts Alliance held at the Birge Fountain in front of the Cultural Arts Center, 402 W. Main St. The group of local musicians includes Jeff Mason on acoustic guitar, bass and vocals; Perry Baird on vocals and acoustic guitar; Tom Cook on bass, mandolin, banjo and other stringed instruments; and Angela Martin Licari on violin and vocals. At left/right???, Barb and Chuck Taylor enjoy a blend of folk, pop, blues, country and Celtic traditions.
