WILLIAM W. LANGE

      William Wayne Lange, 77, of Delavan, passed away June 14, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee with his wife at his side after a brief battle with multiple health issues.

Bill was born Aug. 14, 1940, in Chicago Heights, Ill., one of five children of Mable and William F. Lange. He married Barbara Rae Meier in 1969 in Cleveland. Bill served in the National Guard. Bill had been in the semi trailer industry for more than 40 years. He worked as a sales branch, then general manager for several national companies in the Illinois and Ohio area. He also owned his own semi trailer sales and leasing company for 12 years and sold it in 1990. Bill has worked as a management consultant in both Chicago and Wisconsin. He also had a Wisconsin real estate broker license. Bill has worked with numerous communities and charitable organizations including the Boy Scouts, youth football, Lions Club, City of Hope and he was one of the original founders of the Clown Hall of Fame in Delavan.

Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Kim (Ron) Bolanowski of California, sons Bryan (Annette), of Ohio, and Scott (Sheila), of California; and his four grandchildren Lucas, Paige, Violet and Laine. The Lange family wishes to thank all of their friends and family for their support. He will be missed.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to City of Hope in Duarte, Calif., or Boxer Rebound in Ringwood, Ill.
