Musical Monday

      The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s sesquicentennial concert series resumed last Monday, June 25 with a Festival of Song, featuring soprano Emily Birsan, pianist Jeffrey Sykes and several UW-W student singers and accompanists. The free series just off Main Street on the Wyman pedestrian mall also includes   entertainment, informal tours and kids activities. The next event is at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3 and will feature King Solomon and highlight world, reggae and ska music. (Tom Ganser photo)
