Cravath Lakefront site for fun on Thursday nights this summer

Area residents are asked to grab their favorite lawn chairs for the upcoming Cravath Lakefront entertainment series on Thursday nights.

Parking is free for the concerts and family-friendly events that start at 7 p.m.            Here is this summer’s remaining lineup from the Whitewater Parks & Recreation Department:

  • July 12, The Dang Its, who offer a variety of music for all ages.
  • July 19, Family Fun Night with the Philip & Henry magic show, which will be held inside the Cravath Lakefront Building.
  • July 26, Family Fun Night with the Big Rig Gig. Visitors better be ready to explore dump trucks, tractors, skid loaders, fire trucks and semis. Create your own hard hat and much more.
  • Aug. 2, Concert in the Park with Cydni Meyer, who

plays a wide variety of music, ranging from country to 1970s and classic favorites.

She has played in the area with the Rainbow Bridge Band for 42 years.

  • Aug. 9, Family Fun Night with bouncy fun. The park is transformed into bouncy fun with houses, games, crafts and face painter.
  • Aug. 16, concert with the Piper Road Spring Band. The group was born into the age of rock ‘n’ roll with individual backgrounds as diverse as classical, cowboy, folk and blues.
