Patrick J. Kennedy, 86, of Delavan, passed away June 14, 2018, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born in Milwaukee Oct. 14, 1931, to John and Anne (Murphy) Kennedy. Patrick married Mary Hooper on Feb. 10, 1962. He enjoyed camping, gardening, traveling and drinking coffee on the deck.
Pat is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary; two children, Rita Butke, of Delavan, and Mark (Danelle) Kennedy, of Springdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley Averkamp) Butke, Megan Butke, Autumn Kennedy and Dannica Kennedy; and a brother, John (Carol) Kennedy, of New Berlin.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the church. Burial will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery.
Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
