Jeanie Frances Lass (Kolbeck), 78, of Jefferson, born May 24, 1940, in Milwaukee woke up in heaven June 10, 2018.
Jeanie rejoins her loved ones and is reunited with her father, Frank Joseph Kolbeck; mother, Evelyn Gertrude (Stock) Kolbeck; sisters, Connie Marie King and Mary Deloris Kolbeck; brothers, Frank Joseph Kolbeck and Joseph Frank Kolbeck. Jeanie had worked at Oaks Electronics in Whitewater and Olympia Resort in Oconomowoc.
Jeanie enjoyed life, family and friends and was always there to brighten the lives of others.
Jeanie was adored by all who knew her. Jeanie’s spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles.
Jeanie Lass is survived by her brother, Matthew John (Melissa) Kolbeck, of Prairie du Chien; her sister, Carol Ann Anderson, of Jefferson; son, David James Lass Jr., of Jefferson; son, Randy John (Tiffani) Lass, of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Ariane Chérie Lass, of Milton, Kyla Jade Lass, of Lake Mills, Cayden Ash Lass, of Fort Atkinson, Ricky Lee (Signe) Lass, of Fort Atkinson, Jordan Michael Lass, of Fort Atkinson; great grandchildren, Danny Elijah Williams, Misha Evengelynn Lass, along with many of her friends and other family.
Jeanie will be waiting for her Steelers football team to get their act together and just maybe win that Super Bowl.
The celebration of her life will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with the Rev. Kellen Roggenbuck presiding. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, also in Jefferson.
Per Jeanie’s wishes we ask everyone attending the visitation/service to bring a wildflower to be placed together to make a bouquet in her honor.
Memorials to assist the family with funeral expenses will be greatly appreciated.
