DANIEL G. DEBACK

Daniel G. DeBack

Daniel G. DeBack, 48, found peace June 8, 2018, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born to Daniel and Elizabeth (Magray) in February 1970.

Daniel began woodworking as a teen and over the years his artistic talents grew and he became a talented craftsman cabinetmaker, working for more than 30 years at the Streff Shop in Port Washington. He was also known for his exactness and precision, always measuring twice and cutting once. Organization was another character trait.

Often getting up hours before work started and planning either his day or that of his father with a list of things to do and the order in which it was to be done.

Hunting and fishing were also priorities in his life.

Survivors include his loving parents, sisters Dawn (Rick) Riemert and Julie DeSmith, other relatives and many, many friends.

A memorial celebration of Daniel’s life will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 15, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you for the loving care and support received by Daniel from the Aurora Cancer Clinic in Grafton, Dr. Maul, Dawn and all of the other caregivers.
