Library, village to host Bay Summer Kick-off

Barrett Memorial Library and the Williams Bay recreation and police departments have joined forces to welcome summer with a new event – the Bay’s Summer Kick-off Bash.

The event starts at 4 p.m. June 6 at Lions Park and will feature games and activities, hot dogs provided by the police department and music by the Potts & Pans Community Steel Band. At the event, children, teenagers and adults will be able to register for the library’s summer reading programs, which run June 12 to Aug. 7 – and for Recreation Department programs and activities. In the event of rain, the Summer Kickoff Bash will move to the Williams Bay Grade School gym.
