Because of a production error, the front page activities briefs in the the April 20 edition of the East Troy News were reprinted from the week before and are out of date. Here is the correct information:

CELEBRATE EARTH DAY:

Gateway Technical College, 400 Highway H, Elkhorn, will host an Earth Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. The event will have a recycling center, live entertainment, door prizes, child-friendly activities, farmers market, workshops and demonstrations. For more information, visit gtc.edu/earthday.

MUSIC AND BREWS:

SPAGHETTI DINNER:

First Baptist Church, 212 S. Main St., Delavan, will have its annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. GRAB THE MIC:

The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lakes, 319 N. Broad St., Elkhorn, is hosting an open mic night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. HYDRANT FLUSHING:

The Department of Public Works announced Hydrant Flushing would be conducted the week of April 23. All areas within the Village of East Troy may be affected during this time. You may notice your water pressure varying and potential sediment causing water discoloration. If discoloration appears, run cold tap water until it clears. Flushing is done as part of routine maintenance and to maintain the integrity of the water system.

BUSINESS EXPO:

The Walworth County Business Expo and Career Fair will be on Tuesday, April 24, at the Grand Geneva Forum, 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva. The Career Fair is free and runs from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Expo on Tap, a business-to-business networking event, will run from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Cost is $5 per person.

TOOTSIE ROLL SALE:

Knights of Columbus Council Number 4579 of East Troy will participate in a statewide fund drive, along with other Wisconsin councils, to aid citizens with developmental disabilities April 27-29. The Knights and their helpers will be at various locations throughout East Troy and will offer Tootsie Rolls in return for a contribution. Funds raised goes to a local family with a child with intellectual disabilities. This is the 78th year the more than 39,000 members of the Knights of Columbus have held the drive.
