An initial appearance is scheduled for May 5 for an East Troy man charged with having sex with a 16-year-old girl and then implying bad things would happen to the girl if she told.

Mikhail M. White, 21, was charged April 5 in Walworth County Circuit Court with felony intimidation of a victim and sexual intercourse with a child, both as a repeater.

According to the criminal complaint, a 16-year-old girl said she met up with White in August behind the train museum in East Troy, and she and White drank whiskey and smoked marijuana. The girl said while she was drunk and high, White had sexual intercourse with her, according to the complaint. After the assault, she said, she saw White near the village square in East Troy, and he had a knife on him and was talking about having unregistered guns, according to the complaint.

The girl said White seemed to know that police were aware he had been having sexual contact with minors and implied bad things would happen to her if she told her parents or police what happened, according to the complaint.

The girl said she worried that White would do something to her or her father until White was arrested on a different sexual assault case on Aug. 27.

In that case, White is charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child younger than 16 years old, both as a repeater.

According to the criminal complaint, the girl told police she, a 16-year-old friend and White met up in East Troy on Aug. 27, White bought alcohol and the three of them went to Playmore Park in East Troy. The girl said her friend left her and White alone, and White persuaded her to take her shorts off and sexually assaulted her, according to the complaint.

The girl said she also met up with White on Aug. 20 at a home on Lilly Street in East Troy, where she and White kissed and touched each other sexually, according to the complaint.
