The expectations are high for the Big Foot-Williams Bay boys tennis team in 2018.

And now it’s up to the Chiefs to turn those hopes into reality as the season begins to unfold.

Big Foot must replace six seniors from last year’s squad, but returns a talented roster that has second-year head coach Dan Dowden and fifth-year assistant Dani Lawler excited about the possibilities.

“We have quite a bit of talent working hard to replace (the graduated players),” Lawler said. “We always hope for the most successful season possible. We would, of course, like to place first or second in the conference. We also hope to send as many players as possible to the state tournament.”
