Simon A. Iniguez, 53, of Darien, passed away April 8, 2018, at his home in Darien.
He was born in Mexico on June 10, 1964, to Jose and Maria de Jesus Iniguez (Alba). He married Maria S. Aguirre on Feb. 13, 1987.
Simon is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maria; three daughters, Y. Maribel (Armando) Bonilla, Liliana (Eraclio) Bonilla and Emily A. Iniguez; a son, Antholin Iniguez; eight grandchildren, Simon, Noemi, Armando, Alexa, Melanie, Mia, Allison and Salome; five sisters, Concepsion, Consuelo, Victoria, Elba and Leonor; seven brothers, Jose, Manuel, Enrique, Ismael, Guillermo, Agustin and Humberto; and many nieces and nephews.
Simon is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Alfredo and Juana.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Burial will take place at Darien Cemetery.
