MARK A. HOOD

Mark A. Hood, 64, of Elkhorn, died April 2, 2018, in Pleasant Prairie.

Mark was born Nov. 14, 1953. He lived in the Elkhorn area for over 30 years. He was a carpenter and a handy man that enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially liked fishing, boating, and camping. Camping at Starved Rock was always a favorite trip, one that he made nearly every year.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Viola Hood; and siblings, Denise (Kory) Pawlawski and Steve (Kaye) Hood. Mark is survived by his brother, Dean Hood; stepbrother, John (Lori) VanderVries; nieces, Allison Hood, Stephanie Hood and Korina (Austin) Daley; and many other great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. until the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mark’s family.
