Senior golf league season starting April 16

The Walworth County Senior Golf Association (pictured are some members from an outing last year) will kick off its season with an initial meeting at 9 a.m. at Lauderdale Lakes Golf Course followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start, weather permitting. The league is open to men and women who are at least 50 years old and the membership fee is $15 for the year.

The Walworth County Senior Golf Association is about to start another season of golf in Wisconsin. The league is open to men and women who are at least 50 years old. Last year the league boasted 90 members and the membership fee is $15 for the year.

The league plays nine holes on Monday mornings at different golf courses in Walworth County including: Evergreen, Delbrook, Eagle Springs, Country Club Estates, Alpine Valley, Barn Hollow at Hawk’s View, Browns Lake and Lauderdale Lakes.

The league’s initial meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m., Monday, April 16 at Lauderdale Lakes Golf Course in Elkhorn. Following the meeting a 10 a.m. shotgun start will begin the season, weather permitting.
