Jean was an avid bridge player, competing online and in local groups for decades. She was also a lover of travel and explored areas of North America, Central America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Jean was an eternal early adopter, purchasing a home computer early in the 90s and continuing to use laptops, smartphones, tablets and video game systems into her later years. She was passionate and outspoken politically as well as reflexively generous to family, friends and charity; that passion and generous spirit spread to those around her. She will be deeply missed by friends and family.

A celebration of life will be Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at her grandson Thadeus’s home at 1917 Hawks Ridge Dr., Verona WI 53593.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in Jean’s name.
