The victories didn’t come easy for the Big Foot boys basketball team this season, but the foundation has been set for continued improvement.

Now the work begins.

Big Foot closed its season last week with an 89-54 loss to Lake Mills in a Division 3 regional opener. The Chiefs finished at 3-20 overall.

Lake Mills jumped out to a 46-27 first half lead and cruised from there.

“(They) were able to attack off the dribble, causing us to have to help off our person, and they were able to kick it out to the open man,” first-year Big Foot coach Jeff Fenrick said.
