Casey’s General Store has already made its presence felt in the City of Whitewater after purchasing two gas stations from locally based Frawley Oil Inc. However, that footprint may be about to get even larger.
“We have a site under contract that we are negotiating on in Whitewater,” said Bill Walljasper, the chief financial officer for Casey’s.
However, he did not confirm where that location is.
“I don’t have that information in front of me,” Walljasper said.
He added, “This is separate from the Frawley acquisition.”
He also said Casey’s was under contract for negotiations with other area communities, such as Delavan, Darien and Union Grove. City or village administrators for those communities all confirmed those negotiations last Friday.
Walljasper also said Casey’s is under contract for negotiations for a new site in Edgerton, adding that this company is negotiating on more than 20 sites in Wisconsin alone.
