The Whippets had to look past a tough loss at Jefferson and move on. However, it did not take long and they rebounded in their next game against Brodhead.
In the first half of the Feb. 8 game, the Whippets took it to the visitors and ran away with the game, leading at the half 26-12.
It was a close scoring margin in the second half. Whitewater held on to the lead by outscoring Brodhead 37-31 in the final 18 minutes.
“Not only was it great to see the girls rebound, but we finally played well and entire game, something that has been haunting us all season,” Harms said.
