The City of Elkhorn is seeking interested parties to fill the aldermanic seat for District 2 on the Common Council.

Alderman Michael Kluck, who has held the seat for nearly the past three years, is moving from the district and has officially resigned from his seat on the common council.

“It was an honor to sit alongside my fellow aldermen and I have confidence that they will keep moving the city forward,” he said of his time with the council.

As Kluck’s seat isn’t up for re-election until 2019, the city is looking for applicants to fill his seat for the remainder of his term.

The council would like to interview potential applicants at the beginning of February, and as such, are asking that all interested parties submit their interest in the District 2 seat prior to Feb. 1.

Those interested in the position should contact City Clerk Cairie Virrueta at (262) 741-5131 or cityclerk@cityofelkhorn.org, or Mayor Howie Reynolds at (262) 741-5117, (262) 949-0667, or hreynolds@cityofelkhorn.org.
