Viola Patricia “Pat” Novotny (nee Herbert), age 82 of Palmyra, (Blue Spring Lake) and Marco Island, Fla., died Dec. 3, 2012.
Beloved wife of Donald; loving mother of Donald Jr. (Monica), Ronald (Lisa) and Nancy (Rick) Pinney; dear grandmother of Ricky, Steve, Caitlin, Melissa, Coder (Jackie), Donnie, and Victoria; great-grandmother of Landon; sister of the late James (Audrey) Herbert; aunt and friend of many.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. until time of service at noon at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, Ill. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, Ill.

I love you so much grammy and will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. You were such a wonderful and strong woman who always knew how to make me laugh with your humorous remarks.
