Chaeley J. Ruegge, 17, of Johnstown, Nebraska, died Jan. 11, 2018, from injuries suffered in a car crash. She was born June 25, 2017, to Dave and Jenne Ruegge, Johnstown.
Survivors include her parents; brother, Clint, of Brownlee, Nebraska; sister, Nichole Fischer and her son, Leighton, and special friend, Tyler Johnson, of Ainsworth, Nebraska; paternal grandmother, Gloria Ruegge, of O’Neill, Nebraska; maternal grandparents, Phil and Kris Adsit, of East Troy; and numerous other family members.
Her maternal grandfather, Terry Ruegge, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at Lila McAndrew Gymnasium in Ainsworth. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at the O’Neill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, at the Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at 9 a.m. on Friday, at the Lila McAndrew Gymnasium, until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are suggested.
