SALLY JEAN FISCHER

Sally Jean Fischer passed away Dec. 29, 2017, from stage four triple negative breast cancer.

Sally was born on July 29, 1953, in Princeton, Minn., to Eugene and Marilyn Fischer. She attended Elkhorn Area schools, graduating with the class of 1971. She received a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she served in the student senate and the United Council as legislative research affairs director. Sally received a certificate of litigation from the Philadelphia Paralegal School. She worked for 12 years as a paralegal and was a past member of the board of directors of the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin. She was employed by US Bank for 20 years.

Sally loved reading, traveling and bird watching. She was an enthusiastic fan at baseball, football and basketball games. She enjoyed plays and concerts. She was a member of the Sierra Club, the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and the Wisconsin Society of Ornithology.

Sally will be remembered as a loving mother to her sweet cat, Mandy; a devoted daughter; a loving sister and aunt, and a loyal friend. She is survived by her parents, Eugene and Marilyn Fischer, of Delavan, and; sisters, Susan Macal and Shari Lunde and their families.

Family and friends will gather during the spring migration to share their memories of Sally.
