Whitewater native named Toppers VP of operations

As a youngster, he walked right by the original Whitewater Toppers Pizza to and from school in Whitewater. Now, he is a main player in running the business.

Whitewater native Adam Oldenburg grew up in the city, graduated high school in community and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is even taking classes again at the campus. Now, Oldenburg is the vice president of operations of Toppers, a pizza chain the boasts its specialization in late-night delivery that is headquartered in Whitewater.

Oldenburg will reach his 12th year of employment with Toppers in March. He started out as a delivery driver in college at age 20.

“I knew within the first month that I was staying at this job for a good amount of time,” Oldenburg said.

“I enjoyed every single job. That’s one of the reasons why I’m here,” Oldenburg added.
