Lyle E. Vander Veen, 59, of Delavan, passed away Dec. 3, 2017, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

He was born in Elkhorn Sept. 21, 1958, to Albert and Dorothy (Korringa) Vander Veen. He graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 1976. Lyle farmed on the family farm in Whitewater for many years. He was an avid Packers fan and also loved building muscle cars.

Lyle is survived by a sister, Phyllis Roossien, of Grand Rapids, Minn.; a brother, Norm (Cheryl) Vander Veen, of Delavan; nieces and nephews, Steve Roossien, Breanna (Chris) Bolek, Brian Vander Veen and Jeff Vander Veen; and grand nieces, Kylie and Brinley.

Lyle is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Alan.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.

Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
