The East Troy Electric Railroad’s Christmas Express train will return Dec. 8-9.
Guests will board meticulously restored Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad cars, originally built in the 1940s, for the 10-mile round-trip jaunt from East Troy to Mukwonago.
The heated Pullman cars will be decorated for the event, which features caroling, story reading and a special visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Children will also receive a gift from the railroad.
Tickets are $12.50 for adults; $10.50 for seniors 65 and older; $8 for children 3-11 and free for children younger than 3. Guests can receive a $2 discount with a donation of a non-perishable food item earmarked for the East Troy Food Pantry.
